The relationship between trainer and client is at the heart of what we do. Our trainers act as your mentors, partners, and biggest supporters, guiding you every step of the way. We don’t just demonstrate exercises; we plan your path, keep you accountable, and celebrate each milestone you reach. You’ll never feel like just another face in the gym—our community is tight-knit and welcoming, ensuring you always have a source of encouragement.

They’ll track your progress, adapt your sessions as you advance, and offer constant support. We create a welcoming environment, where you’ll find encouragement and community from day one.

Consistency is the key to lasting change

That’s why we offer regular checks, dedicated recurring appointment times with your dedicated trainer with ongoing guidance, so you can build exercise into your routine and make it a valued habit. Our packages are flexible, with choices of 4, 10, or 20 sessions, and the more you commit, the lower the rate per session. Each session is focused and effective at 30 minutes, and you’re welcome to arrive early for your own cardio and warm-up.

We provide everything you need to make your visits convenient and enjoyable—on-site free parking, a boutique atmosphere, fresh workout and shower towels, and Canberra’s only private outdoor PT playground. Train solo or with a friend, with options for one-on-one or double sessions that fit your budget and schedule.

For those with unpredictable timetables, we offer customised packages with monthly or casual arrangements. Whatever your needs, our trainers will work with you to create a plan that fits. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to be strong, confident, and healthy, and we’re dedicated to supporting you every step of the way.

Want to stay healthy and fit but can't get to the studio? Not sure how to make the most of your gym?

We recognise that regular personal training may not suit everyone’s budget and that many people prefer alternatives to traditional gym settings.

 

So, If you prefer to train at home or have your own gym set up , or if you have a membership at your local, we can assist you by providing personalized home or gym.

 

This allows you to maintain your fitness, strength, and conditioning in a way that fits your lifestyle.

We can tailor the program to your specific circumstances, equipment, and schedule.

 

Many of our clients find success with an initial personal training session, followed by a take-home online program, and monthly PT sessions, including program upgrades and check-ins.

 

We're happy to customize everything to meet your needs.

A’Hernfitness is excited to launch "Rehab & Functional Strength Sessions" with Jen Ahern, a personal trainer with over 25 years’ experience. These sessions are designed for anyone recovering from injury, aiming to improve mobility, or wanting to move better in daily life.

Jen is known for her personalised approach and in-depth understanding of biomechanics. She collaborates directly with your physiotherapist, ensuring your rehab is seamless, safe, and consistent, bridging the gap between clinical care and real-world function.

How It Works

1. Initial Assessment: Your journey begins with a comprehensive assessment, where Jen gets to know your medical background, current capabilities, and goals. This ensures your program is safe, targeted, and fully personalised.

2. Program Development: Jen designs a bespoke plan that aligns with your physiotherapist’s recommendations, focusing on functional movements, safe progression, and your unique lifestyle.

3.  Four (4) x 45 minute – Monthly Personal Training Sessions with Jen:

Enjoy one-on-one guidance in the studio, learning proper form, tips for injury prevention

4. Take-Home Programs: You’ll receive a detailed, easy-to-follow plan for home use, and strategies for ongoing improvement and progression. These specialised and customised take-home programs, allow you to continue your progress in the comfort of your own home/ or own gym.  These programs are easy to follow, require minimal equipment, and are supported by clear instructions

5. Progress Review sessions available: Regular reviews with Jen can then be arranged, after the initial 4 sessions/ months, to ensure your program evolves as you recover and grow stronger.
